For physiotherapists: physiotherapy council/association registration, professional degree certificate, Aadhaar, PAN, photo. Optional but recommended: specialisation certificates (paediatric, geriatric, orthopaedic, neurological, etc.) and any continuing-education certifications. Government IDs are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at the field level.
What is the platform fee, exactly?
CareStride charges 18% of your professional fee as the platform fee. This is paid by the family, on top of your fee — not deducted from it. If you set your rate at ₹600 per hour, you take home ₹600 per hour. The family pays ₹600 + ₹108 (platform fee) + GST + visit kit. Your fee is your fee. When and how do I get paid?
Settlement is T+2 business days after each completed visit. Payments go directly to your linked bank account via NEFT/IMPS. You receive a GST-compliant invoice copy for your records. Tax deducted at source (TDS) compliance is handled per Indian tax regulations applicable to professional services.
Can I work with other agencies or platforms while on CareStride?
Yes. CareStride does not employ you and does not lock you in. You are an independent professional. You can list your services on multiple platforms, accept private bookings outside CareStride, and run your own practice. We only ask that bookings made through CareStride are honoured per the platform terms.
Do I have to accept every booking request?
No. Refusal is your right. You can decline any booking request without explanation. CareStride explicitly backs your right to refuse for any safety, schedule, or scope-of-practice reason. Patterns of refusal are not penalised. We track CareScore based on completed visits, on-time arrivals, and verified reviews — not based on acceptance rate.
What happens if a family files a complaint against me?
Every concern enters a documented, time-bound grievance process under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021 and Consumer Protection Act 2019. You receive notification of the complaint, the specific concern raised, and a clear window to respond with your version of events and any supporting evidence. CareStride does not auto-suspend or auto-judge. Decisions are made on documented evidence, with both parties heard. The process and outcomes are auditable.
Can I deactivate my profile or leave CareStride?
Yes. You can deactivate your profile at any time. Outstanding settlements are paid out per the regular schedule. Your data is handled per the DPDP Act 2023 — you retain rights to data access, correction, erasure, and consent withdrawal. There is no exit fee, no notice period, no contractual lock-in.
Is there a contract or commitment?
You agree to the platform terms when you list, but there is no exclusivity, no minimum-hours commitment, no quota, and no penalty for periods of inactivity. You set when you are available and when you are not. The relationship is governed by the platform terms and Indian intermediary law — we are an aggregator marketplace, not your employer.
